Evelyn Benton Nursing Scholarship
Evelyn Benton was a wonderful mother, friend and mentor. As a professional nurse, Evelyn had empathy, kindness and respect for her patients. She inspired and encouraged her colleagues and co-workers and was a role model for so many throughout her life. The Evelyn Benton Nursing Scholarship was established in 2005 in memory of Evelyn by her family.
Scholarship Details
- Available to High School Seniors or Adult Students
- Nonrenewable
- Approximately $600 available
- Applicant must:
- Be a resident of Armstrong County
- Be enrolled in a nursing major at an accredited two or four year college, university, nursing school or vocational school in the United States
All applicants must complete the online scholarship application, including his/her response to the following essay question.
