May 11th - 15th, 2026
Week of Giving is a community-wide giving and engagement event that encourages generosity and connection while supporting local nonprofits.
During the week, individuals, businesses, and organizations are invited to give in the way that works best for them - online or in person- while participating nonprofits host activities such as open houses and community events.
The Week of Giving in Armstrong County was launched by te Armstrong County Community Foundation in 2013 to help local nonprofit organizations raise critical funds for their programs and services.
How It Works:
- Local nonprofits register to participate in the Week of Giving
- Community members donate online or in person to one or more participating nonprofits
- Donations made during the week help nonprofits qualify for a Bonus Fund, which increases their impact
The Community Foundation coordinates the event, promotes participating nonprofits, and ensures donations are processed accurately
Every gift - no matter the size-helps build a strong community!
What is the Bonus Fund:
In addition to individual donations, participating nonprofits have the opportunity to receive a portion of the Bonus Fund.
The Bonus Fund is made possible through the generosity of community partners and sponsors and is distributed based on criteria established before the Week of Giving. This means your donation can help unlock additional funding for the nonprofits you care about.
