James K. Greenbaum Scholarship

In gratitude for the many years of service that Dr. Greenbaum has given to our community, a scholarship has been established in his name to benefit a graduating student from the area who will be furthering his or her education.

The goal of the scholarship is to honor Dr. Greenbaum’s lifetime contribution to the children of our area and to continue his legacy.

Scholarship Details

  • Available to High School Seniors
  • Nonrenewable
  • Approximately $1,175 available
  • Applicant must:
    • Be a graduating senior from any Armstrong County high school
    • Be accepted at an accredited college or university, trade or technical school

All applicants must complete the online scholarship application, including his/her response to the following essay question.

Essay Question

Please write a personal statement of no more than one page expressing your reasons for choosing your major field of study, including your career aspirations and goals Community service has been a very important value to Dr. Greenbaum and his family; please also describe your community involvement activities and the impact community service has had on your life.
