Print. Share. Connect.

Team Friends' new printer used to create Careword materials for participants to take home and share.

Sometimes, making a difference starts with something as simple as getting the right information into the right hands.

For Team Friends, Careword materials are an important resource for the people they serve. Participants can take physical copies of flyers home and share them with friends, coworkers, caregivers, staff, group homes, workshops, and others in their lives.

In the organization’s 2025/2026 survey, participants shared that having physical copies of flyers to take home and share with others was important to them.

Thanks to funding from the Seyler Family Fund, a component fund of the Armstrong County Community Foundation, Team Friends was able to purchase a new printer and supplies to help meet that need.

While a printer may seem like a simple purchase, its impact can go much farther. It gives the organization the ability to provide participants with information they can take with them, share with others, and help spread throughout the community.

One flyer can reach a friend. A friend can share it with a coworker. A caregiver can pass it along to someone who needs it.

That’s the power of a practical investment — helping an organization respond to what its participants say they need while extending the reach of its work.

Print. Share. Connect. That’s a Grant in Action.
