The Salvation Army’s food pantry provides an important resource for individuals and families in our community who need assistance accessing food.

A grant helped The Salvation Army purchase food for the pantry, providing additional support for those who rely on food assistance. The funding also helped add protein options to regular food distributions, giving individuals and families additional nutritious choices.

The grant was awarded from the William H. and Dorothy S. Toy General Charitable Fund, a component fund of the Armstrong County Community Foundation.

The Salvation Army food pantry is open Monday through Thursday, helping provide food assistance to community members facing food insecurity.
