Grant in Action: Creating a Safer Space for Our Community

Exterior security camera and lighting installed at Life Choices through a grant from George M. & Mary P. Hutchison Charity Fund

A safe and secure environment is essential for nonprofits to continue serving the community with confidence. Thanks to a grant from the George M. & Mary P. Hutchison Charity Fund, a component fund of the Armstrong County Community Foundation, Life Choices was able to enhance the safety of its facility by installing a new security camera system with lights.

These improvements help protect the organization's building, staff, volunteers, and visitors while providing added peace of mind for everyone who uses the facility. Investing in security also helps ensure the nonprofit can continue focusing on its mission and serving the community for years to come.

The Armstrong County Community Foundation is proud to support projects that strengthen local organizations and create lasting community impact. Through the generosity of our fundholders and donors, nonprofits like Life Choices are able to make important improvements that help them better serve Armstrong County.
