The Elderton Plumcreek Recreation Park  is looking greener, brighter, and more welcoming thanks to a recent landscaping revitalization effort.

Through support from a grant funded by the Harry C. Brenneman Memorial Fund, a component fund of the Armstrong County Community Foundation, the park’s Landscaping Revitalization Initiative is helping restore and enhance key outdoor areas that the community uses and enjoys every day.

This project focuses on improving the overall look and feel of the park—refreshing green spaces, enhancing curb appeal, and creating a more inviting environment for families, youth, and visitors. These updates not only beautify the park but also strengthen it as a gathering place where the community can come together, relax, and enjoy the outdoors.

With these improvements, the park continues to grow as a vibrant, accessible space that reflects community pride and investment in shared public areas.
