The Ford City Public Library is excited to share recent technology upgrades that enhance access, learning, and opportunity for patrons of all ages.
Thanks to support from a grant funded by the Harry C. Brenneman Memorial Fund, a component fund of the Armstrong County Community Foundation, the library was able to invest in meaningful improvements to its technology resources. Two computers were updated specifically for teen and tween use, providing faster, more reliable access for schoolwork, research, and creative projects.
In addition, remaining funds allowed the library to purchase new Chromebooks for teen and adult patrons. These devices further expand the library's ability to meet community needs, whether for job searching, homework assistance, online learning, or everyday digital access.
These upgrades reflect the library's ongoing commitment to ensuring that all visitors have access to the tools they need to learn, connect, and thrive in an increasingly digital world.
