When families rely on a food bank for assistance, uninterrupted service is essential. Thanks to the recent purchase and installation of a backup generator, Armstrong County Community Action Partnership's food bank warehouse is now better equipped to continue serving the community during power outages and emergency situations.
The generator provides critical protection for refrigerated food inventory, helping prevent food loss and ensuring that nutritious food remains available for distribution when it is needed most. It also allows warehouse operations to continue with minimal disruption, supporting staff and volunteers as they work to meet the needs of local individuals and families.
While power outages may be unpredictable, this investment helps ensure that Armstrong County Community Action Partnership can continue its mission with greater reliability and resilience. By strengthening the organization's infrastructure, the generator supports long-term food security efforts and enhances the nonprofit's ability to respond to challenges that could otherwise impact service delivery.
This important project was made possible through support from the Richard G. & Barbara A. Snyder General Charitable Fund, a component fund of the Armstrong County Community Foundation, helping Armstrong County Community Action Partnership continue its commitment to serving our community.
