Thanks to a grant from the Harry C. Brenneman Memorial Fund, a component fund of the Foundation, children visiting the Kittanning Public Library can now enjoy a safer environment in the library's children's area.

Through this grant, the Friends of the Kittanning Public Library installed protective vinyl padding on support poles throughout the space.  These additions help reduce the risk of injury while creating a more secure and welcoming place for children to learn, explore, and play.

This simple yet meaningful improvement provides added peace of mind for families, caregivers, and staff, ensuring that the library remains a safe and inviting destination for the community.
