Wearing Blue for Child Abuse Prevention Month

We wore blue on April 1st in support of Child Abuse Prevention Month and raising awareness for local prevention efforts and organizations.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness and stand together in support of children and families in our community.

Today, we joined Kay's Cottage, Armstrong County Child Advocacy Center, and communities across the nation in wearing blue to show our commitment to prevention and to honor the work being done every day to protect children.

The simple act serves as a powerful reminder that every child deserves to grow up in a safe, supportive environment.  It also highlights the important role that local organizations, nonprofits, and community partners play in providing resources, education, and support to families.

We are grateful for the many organizations in our community that dedicate their time and efforts to making a difference.  Their work helps strengthen families, raise awareness, and create pathways for children to thrive.

Together, we can continue to support prevention efforts and build a safer future for all children.
