The Baker Family Charitable Fund

“We wanted to share our community values with our children and share our family values with our community,” says Mary Baker, explaining why she and her husband Frank established the Baker Family Charitable Fund at the Armstrong County Community Foundation. Every, year the Bakers meet with community foundation staff to recommend uses of the fund.

The Baker Family Charitable Fund was established to provide charitable funds around Armstrong County. This fund has given to Armstrong Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, HAVIN, Progressive Workshop, Armstrong Concert Band, Elderton/Plumcreek Recreation Commission, YMCA, United Way, etc.
