Judy L. (Beveridge) Creel Memorial Scholarship
Judy was a life-long resident of Armstrong County. She was the only child of Floyd “Ernie” and Dorothy (Reesman) Beveridge. Judy graduated as salutatorian of the 1965 class of the former Kittanning High School. She spent most of her working years in the banking field, retiring as Manager of S&T Bank’s former Manor (Township) Branch. She and her husband, Gary also owned and operated the former Tires & More garage in Ford City from 1992 until retiring in 2008. Judy then authored and published three books. In addition to her high energy level and strong work ethic, Judy was a devout Christian who was intentional about being there for and helping others in their time of need. She also had a huge heart for rescue animals. Of all life’s experiences and accomplishments, Judy was most passionate about being a wife and a mother to sons, Ryan and daughter, Marci. Family was her priority. She was always two steps ahead, making sure needs were met and her family was well cared for. Home-cooked meals, baked goods, and time to lend a hand or an ear were the norm in spite of her busy schedule. Judy did not have the opportunity to attend college immediately following high school but did complete the equivalent of an associates degree through her employment.Scholarship Details
