Harry C. Brenneman Memorial Fund

Harry was born in Natrona Heights on Nov. 23, 1940, and was a son of the late Mary Elizabeth (Long) and Harry C. Brenneman Jr.

Mr. Brenneman graduated from Salem College in West Virginia, with a degree in education. He began his teaching career in Rural Valley as a shop teacher. He then went to Kiski Area High School and taught industrial arts. He taught for 32 years and retired in 1988.

Mr.. Brenneman was a member of Armstrong Lodge 239 in Freeport, Valley of New Castle Scottish Rite. He was a past member and chairman of the South Buffalo Township planning committee. He had enjoyed running his backhoe service, antiques, and working on and collecting hot rod and classic cars.

Upon Mr. Brenneman's death, his last will and testament stated that he Armstrong County Community Foundation was to create the Harry C. Brenneman Memorial Fund, and is to be distributed to educational and charitable entities in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania in support of children's education, health and well-being and to provide healthcare to the residents of Armstrong County.
