Gary and Janet (Bell) Pettengill Scholarship

Gary approached the Community Foundation after the unexpected death of his wife Janet, or AJ as she was known by her nieces.  For those who knew Janet, she had the heartiest laugh, enjoyed life to the fullest and when she loved you, she loved you with all of her heart!

The purpose of the Gary and Janet (Bell) Pettengill Fund is to provide funds for a high school senior graduating from a high school in Armstrong County enrolled in any field of study.  The recipient must be enrolled at an accredited college, university, trade or technical school in the US.
